This Refund Policy explains the refund and cancellation terms for Imperium Technologies products and subscriptions. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
## 1. Community Subscription (Monthly)
### 1.1 EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
EU/EEA consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right to withdraw from contracts for digital services under the Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) and the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act.
**Express waiver of withdrawal right.** Because access to the Community is delivered immediately upon purchase (you receive your Telegram invite link as soon as payment is processed), at checkout you are asked to confirm both of the following:
1. You expressly request that performance of the service begins immediately, before the 14-day withdrawal period ends; and
2. You acknowledge that, by doing so, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun.
By completing your purchase you confirm both. Your subscription is therefore **non-refundable from the moment your access is delivered**, except as set out in section 1.3 below or where mandatory consumer law overrides this position.
### 1.2 Cancellation
You may cancel your Community Subscription at any time:
* Via the **Manage Subscription** link in your client dashboard, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal; or
* By contacting us at **support@imperiumtechnologies.io**
Cancellation stops future billing. Your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period; no pro-rated refund is given for the unused portion of that period.
### 1.3 When We Will Issue a Refund
We will refund a Community Subscription payment in the following exceptional circumstances:
* **Duplicate or accidental charges** caused by a billing error.
* **Service unavailability** — if the Community is materially unavailable for an extended period due to a fault on our side, we may issue a partial or full refund at our discretion.
* **Mandatory legal obligation** — where Bulgarian or EU consumer-protection law requires us to refund.
Refund requests should be sent to **support@imperiumtechnologies.io** with your account email, the date of the charge, and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 14 days.
## 2. Algorithm License (Digital Product)
The Algorithm is a digital product delivered as software for the licensee to deploy on their own infrastructure.
Once the Algorithm is delivered (via download link, file transfer, or activation key), the licence is **non-refundable**, except where:
* The Algorithm cannot be delivered due to a fault on our side;
* The Algorithm materially fails to perform as described in its accompanying documentation, and we are unable to remedy the issue within a reasonable time.
By purchasing an Algorithm Licence and accepting delivery, you expressly waive any right of withdrawal under EU consumer law to the extent permitted, on the basis that delivery of the digital product begins immediately at your request.
The terms of any specific algorithm licence are governed by the End User Licence Agreement (EULA) provided to you at purchase, which prevails over this Refund Policy in case of conflict.
## 3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email **support@imperiumtechnologies.io** with:
* Your registered account email;
* The product or subscription concerned;
* The date and amount of the charge;
* The reason for the refund request.
We will review and respond within **14 days**. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe; the time to appear in your account depends on your card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).
## 4. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we are usually able to resolve issues directly and quickly.
Filing a chargeback with your card issuer without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, in addition to the chargeback fees being recoverable as a debt.
## 5. Currency and Taxes
All amounts are charged in Euros (EUR). Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original charge. Where applicable taxes (e.g. VAT) were charged, refunds include the corresponding tax amount.
## 6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Changes apply only to purchases made after the effective date of the change.
